Film and television composer Miranda Hentoff deepens the emotional experience of anything visual, by providing a sonic backdrop rooted in her eclectic musical background. Hentoff is adept at providing an intelligent and engaging musical context for a wide range of subjects. She is at home in any style of music, electronic and/or acoustic, and uses her expansive palette of sounds to transform a visual experience into a visceral one.
Her compositions have been featured on numerous episodes of the award-winning PBS documentary series Frontline, and shows for ABC News' 20/20 and Primetime, among many others. Hentoff's recent film credits include 'Golden Venture', a Peter Cohn film narrated by Tim Robbins, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Hentoff's classical conservatory training, coupled with her extensive experience as a performing singer-songwriter and keyboardist, gives her music its distinctive beauty and identity.
